AOL Admissions selection criteria

Does anyone know the diversity ratio or percentage of representation each middle school. Is it similar to TJ admission criteria?

Each middle school gets 1.5% of its 8th grade class admitted. However, there is also a maximum quota per school, instituted to better reduce the number of Asians.

Is AOL still a thing? Does it still say, "You've got mail!".

Yes it is. Many people use it because of its mail filtering for viruses and spam.

How does this work for private school students who wish to apply for AOL? This seems tougher to get in compared to TJ. Do private schools have quota..

I don't think they have a quota, but would be part of the general pool.

Followup, I'm not even sure if they take private school students. AOL has classes every other day, with specific subjects.
