Remove lower leaves on dahlias??

| The internet is giving me conflicting advice on this. Should I remove the lower leaves on my dahlias (they’re pretty bushy and well-established at this point) to promote air circulation / mitigate risk of powdery mildew and other problems? |

| Hmm, I’ve never done this. I do pinch the tops, though. I’ve never had a powdery mildew problem with dahlias. (I have with other plants.) |
