| Is it a good program for U12? Is it competitive? Anyone with any experience with the program or the individual training? |
| We’ve been part of the program for a year and have loved it. Fantastic quality coaching, positive and encouraging rather than negative/yelling, with real focus on technique and protecting young arms. The youngest teams aren’t the best in the region because they really don’t have a great recruiting system for 9U but as kids get older the teams become very competitive, which tells you about the quality of the coaching. Indoor facility also is an awesome feature of the program in rainy or cold weather. |
| We wanted to try it out for winter but NO one answers their emails and the calls go to a full voicemail. Based on bad yelp reviews, i'm mostly convinced they're a scam. If you love them, tell them to take an hour and respond. |
| My kid is 13u and not on an A team, and he’s played dc dynasty each year. They always crush them, so I don’t think they are that good. |
I will say that the coaches seem not to be dads and seem to know what they are doing and seem really positive. |

Not a member but we play them. Their a travel program. Paid Coaches and indoor facility.
But bigger team rosters and take on kids of questionable ability. Gotta pay the Coaches and for the facility, Yanno. Coaches are pretty good but can be spread thin. Not the best organization or communication, but similar programs have the same issue. It's fine. If you want to dominate some tournaments, probably not the program for you. If you want to play travel ball and not rec, it'll be great. |
If your kid is a strong or serious player then 12u is a good year to try to make the switch to a VA team where the talent pool is deeper and competition is better. If you think he will try to make a WCAC or top MAC school team then they need to be exposed to better competition. Look at the rosters for St. Albans, SJC, and Gonzaga and you will see most of them played in VA during middle school. If they are just looking to play a few more years after little league then Dynasty is fine and convenient if you can’t make the commitment to travel a few nights a week to VA. |
+1 The coaches are some of the kindest we have encountered. They are very encouraging to the players and give good feedback. We also play them. |
