Best Individual Girls’ Training in NoVa

Anonymous
For those of us who can’t consistently drive our HS girls to Baltimore for training from groups like Edge or FCL, who in NoVa offers something similar? Could be a boys coach, too, I guess? Thanks for any recommendations.

Attack but takes the draw and plays some midfield when needed. So looking for more dodging/shooting and a little draw work (but not a requirement). Thanks.

Sara Walsh. Lacrossover is her web site. Individual or small group lessons. Also connected to Capital if that is your goal.

Wouldn't she roll over to coach the 25s?

No she only did ‘22s as a favor because they didn’t have a good coach and needed one badly. She is one of best coaches out there but has a family she likes to spend weekends with so coaching club is a hassle. She is going to be the new head girls varsity coach at Maret in 2023. If anyone can make a difference a such a non-lax school, it’s Sarah.

Sarah is the best. No longer in the girls lacrosse biz, but she was the right mix of skill and therapist to DD. Highly recommend her. Maret is lucky to get her.

The best attackers are those either trained formally by attackers in the men's game or grew up with older brothers who played attack. Find a good men's attacker and have her work with them. You won't regret it.

Our daughter has enjoyed the energy and coaching style of the male coaches she’s had through the years, so would definitely be open to that. Any suggestions in NoVa? Bonus for Fairfax/LoCo. Thanks.
