Best places to find caregiver for elderly MIL with dementia?

My elderly MIL with dementia lives with us and we need additional help from a caregiver. We previously hired someone through care.com to come in 3 times a week for four hours each time. She has been amazing, but is leaving to take care of her child when school ends for the summer. I know there are agencies, but would prefer to hire someone directly. I have looked at care.com again but have not had good luck. Are there other websites or Facebook groups or other places I could look to hire someone directly?

Tell everyone you know that you’re looking. Post on your neighborhood listserv and next door. Place an ad on care.com. There are amazing people out there and when their client dies, they get snatched up quickly. Ask your Hispanic or Filipino friends. It’s mostly word of mouth.
