I have variegated liriope in the area in front of my house between the sidewalk and the street, and it looks kind of sparse because each plant is still fairly small. I would like to plant something in between the liriope plants to suppress small weeds and provide some interest. I am thinking about a combination of Grecian wildflower (blooms early) and lavender mountain lily (blooms later). The area is a northern exposure that gets part sun. Does anyone have experience with these bulbs or have other suggestions? I want something inexpensive that I can plant en masse. Thanks in advance for any advice!
