Update from the 40 year old non mormon woman who married a Mormon man?

I just read an old post about a woman who planned to marry a Mormon guy without converting herself. His first wife had died. Any update? How is the marriage going?

I am not that poster but I have several friends in that position. Or I should say I know/knew lots of Mormons married to non-Mormons. (I went to grad school in Hawaii where there are lots of Mormons, so I have seen it in the past 20 years.) Plus several others since then.

None have gotten divorced as far as I know. All have families. A few of the women converted; a few of the men have not bothered to continue being temple-worthy. In other works, like all marriages, people change and people compromise.

I am still in touch with a Mormon guy I dated in college. Christmas card stuff. He is still the nicest, most polite guy I have ever known. His wife is lucky.
