| Do you have a cell service on your Apple Watch? If you don't do you regret your choice? If you do is it worth it? |
| I occasionally wish I had the cellular version to make it easier/more reliable to stream podcasts on outdoor walks so I could leave my phone at home, but that’s it. Otherwise my phone is near enough at all times it’s not an issue. |
| I have one with cell service and it’s very convenient to be able to answer calls on it. If, for example, DH is out and I’m doing something with DD in the house and I’m not near my phone, it’s very convenient to be able to quickly answer a call from him about when he’ll be back or whatever. |
Agree but I’ve never had an issue with my GPS only model if the phone is anywhere in the house. Maybe if you had a very big house it wouldn’t reach everywhere. |
The GPS model can do that as well. The only time that you really need the cell version of the iPhone is if you plan on being outside of your home and away from your phone. Otherwise your phone just rings your watch. |
| Loved being able to leave my phone at home when outside for walks/runs, etc. |
| How much does the cell service cost? Thinking about getting one for DC |
| I think it's about $20 per month? |
|
I like being able to go for a run, mow the lawn, leave my desk at work without my phone etc, and still be able to see my texts as soon as I get them
I think its worth it to get cellular |
| My first watch was gps only and was fine, but updated in Dec to cellular and it’s so nice to be able to go out without my phone! Kids can still reach me, I can listen to Audible or music. |
| I run 5-6 days a week, and this lets me keep my phone at home. That’s really the only time I use the cellular—I have phone with me at all other times. On T-Mobile, it’s $5 for 500MB and $10 for unlimited. I have the 500mb plan and have never come close to using it all. |
