| Any opinions on which would be better? Our daughter is 3 1/2... Prices seem relatively similar. We took her to the kiddie land amusement area at Rehoboth last year, and I'm not sure Dutch Wonderland seems much different. TIA! |

Dutch Wonderland has some similar stuff to Rehoboth, but it is more of a "real" amusement park. I think DW can accommodate more people (based on what I've read), and the 4 or so times we've been there it's never seemed crowded.
DW also has the princess (storytime with the princess was a hit when our daughter was that age), there are shows, and games, and the splash park area. Also, I think DW is a closer drive. But I can't do a real comparison because I haven't been to Sesame Place since I was a kid, I would just say I recommend Dutch Wonderland. |
| we went to Sesame Place last year and it was a NIGHTMARE! Never again. It was so crowded. I think we went on 4 things all day and seemed like we waited forever. Disaster and very hot. There was little shade even when waiting in line. |

Never been to Sesame Place and based on what friends have said about it, I'm in no hurry to go. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think it might be more water park heavy than ride heavy.
Go to DW. It's fun, your daughter will have a blast. I've heard too many bad things about Sesame Place and never heard anything bad about DW. |
| My DD loved Sesame Place, but she is a total fish and could stay in the water all day. She loved everything - the wet rides, the dry rides, the shows, the parade, the dinner with the characters. I'm not sure why everyone complains about it. We had a great time! |
| We loved DW when our kids were that age. It is manageable, clean, well-organized, and doesn't seem crowded. And I love that, unlike Sesame Place, it's not all about licensed/commercial characters. |

We took our DD to Dutch Wonderland last July 4th when she was 2 1/2. She loved it. We got there early when they opened and she had a blast. It's a smaller version of a Six Flags/Kings Dominion but made for smaller kids. It has a small water area too that was nice. Front what I see online Sesame Place charges the same price for children as adults, something like $60. DW was only $30 a person and b/c DD was under 3 she was free! The best part was we left mid-day and around the corner ate at a restaurant and took a lovely Amish horse/carriage ride, then went back to DW for more rides. Nice that Amish country is around the corner. We enjoyed both.
FWIS - I heard Sesame Place is not in an ideal location, not too safe area outside of Philly ie. staying in a hotel there. I haven't been so I can't be sure my info. is completely true. |
Good G-, Langhorne Pa is a very nice place, it is in Bucks County which is equivelent to Howard Co. I went to school 3 miles away in Newtown |
| I also haven't been to Sesame place but we took our 13 month old son to Dutch Wonderland a few years ago and he loved it! We made a long weekend of it and did a bunch of stuff in Dutch country - there was a really fun farm park called Cherry Farms or something along the lines, with hayrides, wagon rides, petting zoo, games, etc. |
