Naturetint vs. Herbatint color

I'm looking for the most organic/natural boxed hair color (I used to go to Aveda salons but am not going to salons anymore). What are the differences between them and which do you recommend? I need to cover grey and lots of it.

Good luck. You will end up with reddish straw like hair if you go naturalish boxed dye route. There isn’t a natural product out there that will 1) cover gray well 2) not fade/pull red 3) without the big 3 harsh chemicals.

If these things are important to you, you really need to go to a salon that used dyes that have less chemicals

I’ve been using Herbatint for almost 2 years now and it works great. I have dark brown hair and vary between their 4N-5N shades.

I’ve been using Herbatint permanent hair dye since my now 36 year old was in kindergarten! It’s great!!

Have used herbitant for a while never tried nutritant. I noticed the herbitant tends to wash out quickly around the temples for some reason. It looks great at first but does seem to dry out the hair.
