4th of July Family Forest Bathing
by Ilana Rubin published Jun 20, 2025 — filed under: ,
Start your 4th of July with a breath of fresh air—and a little forest magic. This special family edition of forest bathing invites kids (ages 6+) and adults alike to slow down, explore with your senses, and discover wonder in the woods at Potomac Overlook Regional Park! Guided by certified nature and forest therapy guide Ilana Rubin of Kindred Nature, we’ll go for a gently guided wander in the park, pausing along the way for interactive, sensory nature-based invitations that spark curiosity, calm, and connection. We’ll close our time together with a cozy forest tea party under the trees. $30 per person. Open to ages 6 and up. All minors must be accompanied by a registered adult, and all participants must register in advance online.
