How is it then?
19,000 host families in a program and 91,000 Au pairs that want lawsuit since 2009?
That proportion of Au pairs who want to sue HP is huge. It's around 53% during the last 9 years.

Hmm... If you would take 19000 families multiplied by 9 years and compare it with number of Au pairs which is 91000 over 9 years it's about 53% of Au pairs who want to sue.

The lwsuit isn’t against HPs. It’s against the agencies.

Sure but HP are involved. Each of you had 1 Au pair for let's say 1 year.
19000x9=171000 comparing with 91000 Au pairs.
It's a lot you can't deny.

It doesn't mean all of them want to sue or that they even can locate a fraction of this number.

The way to works is that the attorney just defines a class as everyone who was an au pair during a certain period.

Just like other class actions that count us and many times we don't even know it.

If that would be true the number of the au pairs considered to sue would be equal to number of host families.
