Hi ,
I am taking care of baby who is 13 month. I cook for the family two times in the week. I bought ingredients and they pay me back. I organized the living room . Just put the toys on the right place . The family paying me $25 hourly. Is it reasonable? I am little tired of cooking . How much is rate of taking care of two kids? If I find another job Thanks Zohra 1. |
$25 an hour is good and your tasks sound ok as well.
What's your problem exactly ? |
I make $27 an hour for one child and no cooking. However, I have a college degree in Early Childhood Education and teaching experience.
There is no one set rate, OP. It all depends on your education and experience. |
Why did you accept a job with cooking responsibilities if you didn't want to cook? That sounds like high pay, depending on the hours worked. |
$25/hour is high for 1 child, but normal when it includes housekeeping tasks like cooking.
If you look for another childcare only (which includes doing their laundry, picking up toys, cleaning up after them) gig, you will likely make around $18/hr. 2kids= $20 Do you hate the cooking so much that you are willing to drop $5/hr in pay? |
I know a lady who's making 30$ without your early childhood education, but lots of childcare experience. So, it's not about education; heard of equivalency? |
I charge $25 for cooking and 1 child. |
You only cook twice a week, and you don't do any cleaning other than putting the toys back away? I feel like you're getting paid quite a bit. |
