Try 102.7 out of Baltimore--Jack FM, if you're looking for decent 80s/90s music. No DJ, no chatter--just music. Or NPR if you want to listen to someone with a brain.
Carson and Chili are fine for the ride home, though.

Please share. I actually used to listen to that station when Sammy was the intern for the previous morning show that was unceremoniously dumped, too.
Sammy left last year to go back to school and sarah went to do tv in new York. Melanie is ok, intern John is too juvenile ( always has a crass statement, doesn't balance it) and Dani is an ex- miss Minnesota who has an answer for EVERYTHING. I am surfing for a new stion to balance out my NPR

They offered him a send off and he refused.

Anonymous wrote:Yeah, I remember when it used to be Jack & Bert. I grew up around here so I remember even back when it used to be Q107 and it switched to Mix 107.3 and J&B were brand new!
I had given up on Mix 107.3 (morning show) long ago, though. I liked the music but could not STAND J.D.
Has anyone tried 97.1? That is what I had turned to b/c it's much the same music, just less stupid chit chat chit chat chit chat. Remember Loo Carson? (I think that's how he spells it.) He used to be the afternoon guy at Mix 107.3 but he had gone over to the morning show at 97.1 and has been there for years. Well, now, surprise surprise: Chili is there now too with him in the a.m.!
Anyway, I know I am a strange (radio) bird b/c I listen to a combo of NPR, WTOP for traffic and news, 90.9 (classical), and 97.1. I switch between the three of them during the morning commute, oh, and I also my DD's audio-books on CD! This morning, it was "Pinnochio"!
