Tastes like custard but runny. The ones sold in the store should not have raw egg in it, but the recipes to make it yourself will have them. If you have it at a Christmas party it will probably have alcohol in it.

It tastes great. 4 ounce glass, one ounce eggnog, 3 ounces of bourbon. After about 4 of those you'll think it's the best thing since chocolate.

I like it, but I buy the teensy one serving size at the grocery store. It fills my craving without me gaining a lot of weight.

I love it, but it is really fattening. I try to limit my intake.

I tried one in a cardboard box at WF, it tasted awful. Will try to glass bottle next time.

That's a really good description. Rich and creamy mouth-feel. Cinnamon and other spices. I do think the organic ones are better.

I've never had eggnog. In the kind you get in cartons at the grocery store, what does it taste like? Does some varieties actually have egg in it?

If I want to try eggnog for the first time, is there any particular brand/style you recommend?
