Not a big deal unless you have a mentally unstable person in your home.
Remember the kid a few years back that shot up the Fairfax County police parking lot? Well documented history of issues. Family was "trying to get help" for the kid, but father was also keeping a ton of guns in a glass front cabinet that the kid was easily able to get at.
I'm really sorry if your family has a glorious tradition of gun collecting and ownership. If you have a mentally troubled person family member who can gain access to those weapons, you don't get to keep them! You'll just have to chose between your precious, precious guns and your family members.
And the police officers
And the 20 little children
Hard choice, right?
