I was so glad to find this thread! I panicked because my son is only 9 months old today, and I made my husband run and get me several hpt's which were all neg. He thought I was crazy when I told him I thought I felt a baby kicking. It was all over the place like my son did, and it only occurred when I was in a resting position, so of course I freaked out! Idk how but every time I have become pregnant I knew, and even felt the egg implanting and cervix closing. So I became worried as to what it else it might be, so things moving back in place seems very plausible to me.

I get it all the time, if I look at my tummy I can actually see it moving. No, not pregnant. I always assumed it was gas.

I get it too and my son is 2. I blame the show "I didn't know I was pregnant" I am on mirena and have not had my period since february so that combined with the fluttery feeling means I am taking a pregnancy test every few weeks. I think I have felt them before I was pregnant but now I know what it feels like.

Abdominal aortic aneurysm?

"The vast majority of aneurysms are asymptomatic. However, as abdominal aortic aneurysms expand, they may become painful and lead to pulsating sensations in the abdomen...."

I've had them too. I wonder if it is simply the case of having become more attuned to your gut during pregnancy and/or subconsciously wanting another.

I def have phantom kicks - it is the most bizarre feeling! Just last night DH and felt them together just like we used to do when there actually was a baby there.

OP, recently I saw a thread somewhere on DCUM about phantom baby kicks after pregnancy. A lot of women have them! I am def not preg and my youngest is 15 months and I feel them sometimes. I wonder if it's bowel.

there is a show on TV called "I didn't even know I was pregnant". It's amazing how so many people had no symptoms...negative preg test, period, ect., yet still were pregnant. Perhaps get a pregnancy blood test to be sure?

OP here - I don't think it's a mere muscle spasm - it's really strong. And not painful, which I guess is good. I should have the cyst possibility checked out - I had one in the past, though it felt stationary and not like it was moving. Weird...

Could it be a muscle spasm? Does it feel like when you get an eye twitch?

I had a very large, benign ovarian cyst that felt similar.

I have this also, and I think its possibly bowel related, like something is moving along the bowel (sorry, TMI!)

I don't know why I should be feeling it now, as I never felt it before having children, but similarly my youngest is 2 yrs old. I have been hoping its just one of those symptoms of everything being a bit moved around inside, that will eventually settle back to normal...

Ok, so I feel bizarre even asking this, but has this happened to anyone else? I am two years post-partum, normal (vaginal) delivery, no issues there. Several times lately, I have felt something going on in my abdomen that feels exactly like when my daughter was kicking and moving her arms inside me. Seriously, it feels just like a baby's arm or leg poking around in there. I figured I should rule out horses before I started looking for zebras, and so I took a pregnancy test. Which was negative. (not surprisingly - I haven't had sex in a couple months and I've gotten periods since then.) I don't have any symptoms of ectopic pregnancy and it doesn't feel like gas. I doubt it's a tapeworm, and I haven't recently traveled anywhere where I was likely to encounter parasites in the food or water.

Anyone else experience this? Anyone have any ideas as to what it could be?
