You can’t win an election without your base, Progressives are not voting for Biden because of Gaza. Frankly, he needs to go, you can only say …, I am not Trump so many times. Biden can continue to support Israel but it’s going to cost him the election. Abortion is not gonna save him because borders/immigration is the top issue that is going to checkmate Abortion.
if the progressives think Donald "Israel should finish the job" Trump is going to be better for Palestinians, then we will get the government we deserve.
The problem is it's hard to imagine life in Gaza are worse than the hell that Israel has wrought onto the people there. You have 32K dead, half of whom are innocent kids. It's just as easy to imagine Trump washing his hands of the mess and leaving the two sides to battle it out to the death. He's going to follow the money; he's not interested in getting stuck in some political and costly quagmire. Unfortunately, in this case, Biden being the devil we know has been too much. He waited far too long to do anything about the disproportionate Israeli response. And by the way, I'm a liberal Dem and a long-time supporter of Israel, but I am furious at Biden for his slow response to the overwhelming death of children in Gaza. The children are not Hamas, and yet Biden said too little all the while sending more and more bombs to Israel.
Another liberal who think Biden’s done an amazing jobs walking the line. He can’t change US policy overnight! We have no idea what’s going on behind the scenes but I trust him and his team. And I trust that he will pull us away from Israel is Bibi doesn’t step down soon. Lastly, this will all change by November. Bibis days are numbered.
Biden is pandering to his far left base. Can't lose those folks in addition to the black vote, the youth vote, and the hispanic vote. If he changes US policy toward Israel, he's toast.
It's funny isn't it. His public comments changed after the Michigan primary and Arab voters stayed home. He cannot afford to lose that state so all of a sudden he's concerned about Gaza and is being tough on Israel.
How is he pandering to the far left? What has he said that is so leftist? Being harder on Israel? Is that pandering to the left? Especially after the WCK employees were killed? Israel is losing support around the world.
He sent them more 2,000 lb bombs on Friday, the day AFTER the WCK7 were killed. How is he being tough on Israel? This fat lefty has given up on him. Even if he came out now and stringently and plainly denounced Israel and halted all arms sales, all of the Arab-Americans like me will remember it took the deaths of 7 white westerners to do what the deaths of 30,000 Palestinians could not.
No way we sent more bombs after the WCK attack. What's your source of this info? How in the heck are these two political hacks being nominated by the two major parties of the most powerful country in the world in consecutive elections???? Can anyone answer this? Are we Americans just idiots, or what?
This article says that the transfer of bombs was approved the same day as the attack, but “hours before” the attack itself. However it also says: “The Biden administration has indicated that it does not plan to restrict or condition military aid to Israel, despite US officials, including President Joe Biden, saying publicly that Israel has not done enough to protect civilians throughout the course of the six-month war. Biden said earlier this week that he was “outraged” over the strike that killed the aid workers.” So it looks like it will be true soon enough? We will see. This article: https://thehill.com/homenews/4577089-biden-not-backing-independent-investigation-world-central-kitchen-strike/amp/ Says that Biden had declined to back a third party investigation into the WCK attacks so I think it will be more of the same once we forget this news cycle.
^^^ Democrat doublespeak.
