Since when has he cared what everyone else thinks about what he does? His supporters admire that he is real whether that be not being politically correct or polite to everyone or kissing everyone's butt to gain their vote. He knows people came from far away to see him and he wanted them to hear him uninterrupted. He's always been out of control which is one of the traits his supporters love about him. They are just sick of fakeness.
You are obviously correct, but that is Trump's achilles' heal. It's why I think the fact that his campaign manager is no longer trying to reign him in is relevant to a discussion of Trump's mental health. Everything Trump is doing is popular with his supporters. However, he doesn't have enough supporters to win the election. Politics is about building coalitions. The art is in finding constituencies that you can add to your core of supporters. Trump is systematically alienating everyone except his core. It is no coincidence that today a landslide of Republicans has started endorsing Clinton. They watched the weekend of Trump fighting with the Khans, they waited until Monday to see if things got under control, and then they said, "f-it". The first Republican House Member announced that he is supporting Clinton. One of Jeb Bush's top people said she is supporting Clinton. Meg Whitman is supporting Clinton. One of Christie's top people is supporting Clinton. Manafort has started phoning it in. Watch Trump in the next few days as all the polls turn against him and more Republicans come out for Clinton. Trump could easily go over the edge.
