It is a top choice for our junior but we are concerned with lots of online classes in the business program….
Someone in another thread posted a good explanation about the online business classes- basically, not exactly as bad as you think. If you do a search, you will probably find it.
UF has had online classes forever. In my day, it was videos high in the ceiling. UF has more TA's. than Professors. Always has and now with many professors leaving in droves less class sections, business, eng, CS, Sciences, etc. UF OOS tuition is ridiculous to pay.
OOS tuition is comparable to in state William and Mary and in state UVA.
Exactly, it’s insane to pay the same for Florida as UVa/william and Mary etc. . It’s one thing to go to a mega school because it’s basically free, quite another to pass up a better education for the same price.
Not insane, if you think that Florida will give you a better education and experience compared to these in state options. A lot kids do not want to attend UVA or William and Mary.
My kid got into all 3 (Florida, UVA and W&M). While UVA and W&M are great schools, my son preferred Florida for his college experience.
Well, at least he’ll have fun.
After visiting all three, he knew that Florida was where he wanted to be.
Congratulations to him!
