We did shared risk with sg. It was $20k for us without icsi or pgs. Did 8 transfers.
Question for you - did your SG Dr. push PGS? I know it's a hot topic these days and based on what I have read it's all subjective as to who is analyzing the embryos. So I am not sure if it's is really worth the extra $5K. Curious what your SG doctor said about PGS.
As you get older, the greater chance your embryos will have a chromosomal abnormality. So someone in their 20s is at a lower risk vs someone in their late 30s/40s. I was 38 and PGS tested my embryos and found more than half were abnormal. When you're spending all this money I didn't want to risk getting pregnant and possibly terminate due to significant abnormalities.
