I know some clinics do us and bloodwork after iui to see if one ovulates.[/quote] OP--I'm a lesbian who did plenty of IUIs. I never did any post-IUI bloodwork or u/s to see if ovulation happened. Trust me, it happened. The trigger shot works. If this IUI doesn't work, and you still want assurances, then start taking your temp when you wake up but before getting out of bed. Get a basal body thermometer. I did that and could track that ovulation happened based on my temp rising. As others have said, put the OPKs down. They are useless once you've had the trigger shot.
