We did an amazing trip with National Geographic family tours and the cost was under $3k pp, almost all-inclusive (minus a few dinners and inexpensive activities). We are a family of 5. Unfortunately the flights there cost as much or more than the trip. We had 13 days in Vietnam and 3 in Cambodia. It was an amazing trip and we traveled all over.
Wait, the trip cost 30k for 5 people?
Pretty much. 16 days is a long time, it inclined all internal flights and transfers, lodging (4* hotels), activities and most food.
LOL.. 40 K to go to Vietnam, even for 16 days is insane. Food is insanely cheap there, unless you only eat tourist food. We've traveled to Taiwan, over Christmas break for 2 weeks for a quarter of this price. heck we have done Maui for 12days a LOT less than this($15K)
