Mid-life crises happen at 40-something (or maybe 50ish). You are well beyond that. At any rate, thee is no such thing as "too old for" a car. You want the car, get the car (assuming you can afford it). I had a convertible PT Cruiser for awhile. I loved that thing.
That's just embarrassing. LOL - np
I get it. Surely it is, at least in the (also embarrassing) DCUM we-have-a-Range-Rover-and-a-Tesla-and-we-bought-our-nanny-a-Pacifica world. But it's not as embarrassing as being 63 and talking about your "Mid Life Crisis." I mean -- that's both social delusion and an inability to multiply by 2.
I am mid life crisis as my youngest is starting college next Fall and will be an empty Nestor for first time. So I can really get any car. No need seating for five and grocer getter. I drive to work around 1.5 hour round trip each day so a fun car. But not at retirement phase yet. It’s the midlife between kids and retirement I also like the Jaguar, BMW and Mercedes convertible but new ones very expensive and uses ones maint is a killer.
