We had really good luck with Home Depot - put in 2 windows and a sliding glass door for $2300 last year. They did a really nice job. I called a few places and got quotes of $300-$500 per window, and all the places dropped the price as you ordered more windows. So it pays to have all the windows replaced at once if you can swing it, rather than dragging it out over a few years. Not to hijack your thread, but has anyone had screens made for existing windows? The house i just bought has a gorgeous bay window in the family room, but no screens so we can't open the windows at all in the nice weather months.
We used Home Depot to install a large bow window. Originally they brought in a window that was too small and tried to fill in the gaps with filler. We complained, raised hell and they took it out and brought in a larger more expensive BAY window for no extra cost. They do great work but you need to be on them like a hawk to ensure quality. Oh home depot charged us 3000 while as anderson windows wanted to charge us 9000 'F' that. The window home deopt brought has a 10 year warranty and is energy efficient.
