I recently registered at BBB because it is closer to me. FWIW, everyone buys online these days anyway, so I wouldn't worry about whether it's close to family and friends. You're the one who has to return/exchange the stuff! While I love the staff there (so helpful, especially with no fam or friends in the area) and they do have nice things, my thoughts are that: (1) Their selection is less with regard to pricing (I feel like I did not have the option to register for things that were like one grade lower than the option at BBB - like the play yards are $160 (for the premium one) instead of $120 for the slightly less premium one at BRU, which isn't even an option at BBB). I know other people were buying the stuff for me, but I think it's unnecessary to have the "best" of everything and my friends who registered at BRU had more of a variety of price ranges/items. I was actually embarrassed about this because I'm sure people were like "geez, she has the best of the best on here and it's not cheap!"; and (2) The website is terrible (I was on my friends' BRU registries every day trying to figure out what to buy and thought the website and reviews were much better). The return policy is amazing, though, and the store is orderly and nice to be in. Also, I wouldn't bank on the 20% off coupon thing too much - they only issue a BBB coupon like 5 times a year and they only take unexpired Bed Bath & Beyond coupons (and you can't use them on everything, as certain brands are excluded). I just went to get the rest of what I need (I have four more weeks to go) and did not have enough coupons! I also went to Target the next day and was sick at the amount of money I spent at BBB. You really can't go wrong, though. Good luck and congrats!!!!
