What is Public Citizen?  Is it an organization that advocates for public policy?  Most members of Congress are not qualified or capable to write legislation on their own, so it is not a big deal to get outside help.  Ultimately, the members of Congress should be held accountable in 2018 for their votes and what they ended up putting in the legislation.

Regular Americans pay a very small percentage of federal tax revenue, and their taxes are going down.  So, it is unclear what the Public Citizen lobbyist is saying.    [/quote]
