Arthur and Desmond. I think Desmond is underutilized. |
I hate them all. I think Simon is a weak, nerdy name. Arthur is a family name for me and everyone who has it hates it and goes by nicknames.
Desmond is the only one of this list I'd consider. |
No to Ruben and Desmond.
I like Simon, Arthur and Bruno. Small preference for Arthur because it was my grandfather's name . |
I like Simon, but it is frightfully British. I also like Bruno, despite the slightly thuggish connotations (which I'm not sure of the reason for). And Ruben (or Reuben?). I've never been a fan of Arthur or Desmond. |
Arthur
Ruben Simon is okay but seems very popular I could get used to Desmond but it's a stretch Dislike Bruno |
Ooo, I don't like any of these. |
I really like Simon and Arthur. Ruben gets my third place vote. |
I really like Simon, Bruno and Desmond
I wanted to name my son Bruno but my husband refused |
That wasn't the game. |
I’m sorry OP- I don’t like any of these names. If I had to pick one it would be Desmond. |
Ruben reminds me of the sandwich, Arthur reminds me of the aardvark, Bruno... the singer and Simon- a British dude.... that leaves Desmond which is no good. Go back to the drawing board. |
Totally agree! I love Desmond. Simon is my second choice. |
I'll play!
1. Simon, familiar but not overused. I also like the less "nerdy" nickname Si. 2. Desmond and Arthur, tie. Desmond shortened to Dez or Desi is unique and fun. Arthur is an underused classic but beware of the Artie Fartie jokes to come. 3. Ruben and Bruno,.tie. Both are strong and unique but may be a burden to wear well. Good luck! |
I love Simon. I could not get my husband on board for our son, but I think it's a great name. |
Love Simon
Desmond, Ruben or Bruno are great - I think I have a slight preference for Ruben Arthur - I like but had a college boyfriend named Arthur so it spoiled the name for me |
