Arthur, Peter, or Theodore

I love Arthur, but also Theodore.

Peter I'm just okay with, notwithstanding High King over all Narnia.

I like Harold and Edward too, for old school names.

Wait what? Is Peter slang for something I'm not aware of?
(Not trying to be snarky, I'm genuinely curious)

Well, you've got Theodore and Simon, why not add Alvin to the mix, too?

Actually, I have a preference. I'm a Theodore and have always loved my name; of course, it's a lot more popular now than when I was named, but it's still great being a Ted (or if you're into the hipster vibe, a Theo, also a good nickname).

I like Simon a lot.
It's also not over used like Theodore.

Peter is meh.

Hehe. My Thoughts exactly. I even started humming the theme song.

Can't stand Simon but love all the rest. Theodore is great but pretty trendy even though it's a classic.

We almost named our son Arthur. I think Arty is a great name.

Ted is more of a hipster name than Theo. Theo seems a bit dated now, whereas Ted is a grandpa name.

Arthur or Peter are great

I have a little Theodore, so I'm biased We call him Theo.

Theodore is surprisingly popular in DC, but far less so most everywhere else.

I can relate, OP. Wanted to name my son (now six months) Simon, too, but DH nixed - maybe it's a guy thing? Haha.

Of those names, I like Theodore, Peter, and Arthur in that order (really don't like Arthur). Teddy or Theo, Pete - super cute nns for the first two, and totally respectable, solid names in long form.

I like all three, actually! We used Arthur for my younger son's middle name. I wanted to use it as a first, but didn't want a nickname (Art, Artie, etc.)

All solid choices!

I like Peter, then Theodore. Not a fan of Simon or Arthur.

+1

Our second would have been Peter but we had a girl instead.
