Any recommendations are highly appreciated. Thanks!

Noone in Vienna/Tysons area specializes in infertility. I like Kerri Westhauser in Falls Church and Eugene Zhang in Fairfax. Kerri is more focused on infertility than Eugene though. I do not recommend Arthur Fan in Tyson's area. I don't think he has any knowledge of infertility related issues.

Kerry's practice in Falls Church is relatively close to where I live and also close to where I go for yoga. I'll schedule an appointment soon. Does she also give herbs or just accupuncure? Many thanks.

She does both and she has told me that the herbs are most important in realigning body.

X. Zhu is in Tyson's. She doesnt specialize in fertility but seems extremely knowledgeable.

I see Arthur Fan in Tysons. I have not done acupuncture before but I think he's okay. Not tremendous - the language barrier is not as bad as the lack of communication - but he seems to do all the right things.

I see Dr. Zhu in Tyson's. She's one of the very few covered under FEP BCBS basic. She's the only acupucturist I've seen, and I've been seeing her for 8 weeks now. We did not get pregnant during the one full cycle that occured in that time, but I did see a change in my period. I used to spot consistantly for 4 - 6 days before getting a strong flow, but now my flow starts on day one and wraps up 2 days later.

I went to Dr. Arthur Fan in the Tyson's area and was successful on our 1st IVF attempt. I continued to go to him through the 1st trimester as I had 3 miscarriages. My son is now 6 months old. I plan to go to him again when we try for #2.

First of all, what Arthur Fan does wrong is that he stimulates same points irregardless of the day of your cycle. That can be actually detrimental during the implantation phase. Second, he uses thick needles which cause pain while inserting and excessive bleeding afterwards (at least for me). Third, his knowledge of fertility issues is VERY limited.

If it does not work out, you can try voodoo or santeria.

PP, no need to be snarky.

Or you can go to other forums and teach your valuable lessons there. We are doing just fine being supportive of each-other. Your precious advice is unnecessary and unwelcome.

I like Dr. Chou on Arlington Blvd in Fairfax. Although he treats issues of all sorts he has many, many fertility patients.

Arthur Fan actually had many successful cases in fertility treatment, may be no. 1 or no.2 succssful doctor (i.e. use acupuncture or Chinese Medicine) in DC area. Based on my personal research and talked with some of his patients, he is very good in this field.

A student asked him before, whether he likes the idea -using different points in different stage of a period cycle as somebooks described to treat infertility patient? he said he really like this before and sometime still use it, his teacher in Chinese genecology was Dr. Xia Guicheng who is the first doctor using this style of treatment, and famous in China and international. Most of Chinese gynecology books in Englis discussed in this atually are based on Dr.Xia's theory. Howevery, he prefers to use another style treatment now, after 20 years, he said, the Daoism is best way, more practical. He said when he focus on the key issue, it seems more easily to handle difficult case.

In fact, many patient has irregular period cycle, and many of other patients could not remember her exact monstrual date, or too busy, miss appointments. Using different treatment or points indifferent stage sometime actually is difficult. He said he has to learn a more efficent way to treat infertility patients.
