I'm trying accupuncture to help me get pregnant. So far it's relaxing but I'm not seeing much else. He says to continue for at least three months, twice a week. WWYD? |
started over the summer (June?) b/c of hives
married in August pregnant on my honeymoon - unplanned, should have NEVER happened For me, it worked - but for a different situation. |
I'm very skeptical about alternative medicine. But studies show it works on animals, so that helped convince me that it's not just for people who believe it will work. |
It is the only thing that worked for my morning sickness when I was pregnant and I did not start going until I was 5 1/2 months pg. |
When I was dealing with infertility, I started going after 6th IUI. I got pregnant with twins after 8th IUI. I'll never know if it did the trick or just finally worked, but I felt better doing something different and proactive. |
Is your acupuncturist by any chance Arthur Fan? I saw him twice a week for 3 month and did not get pregnant. I also did not like the fact that he inserted the needles in exact same places irregardless of the day my cycle because different areas should be targeted each time. At least this is what I read in Infertility Cure book by Randine Lewis and that's what other acupuncturists who specialize in infertility do. |
OP here: I am seeing Arthur Fan. I am skeptical but I'll stick w/ it for awhile. |
Doubtful. I am not sure how sticking a needle will help you get pregnant. |
