cycles seem to be out of wack, who should I go see?? RE recommendations?

I had a D&C in June and then my first ovulatory cycle in August, though it was a little odd -- ovulation on Day 13 and only an 11 day LP. Usually my cycles were 27-28 days.

This cycle is now odd too -- six days of fertile CM but no positive OPK yet and I'm on Day 16 or 17.

I am 35 and conceived #1 on the first month two years ago.

I go to Reiter and Hill. After two post-mc anovulatory cycles, I saw Dr. Jackson who basically said, wait it out and don't worry.

If this cycle turns out to be anovulatory, I'm officially worried and am very interested in exploring clomid -- at least, I want to get my hormone levels checked to see what is going on here.

Can this be done at Reiter and Hill, and if so, is there a doctor there you recommend?

If not, do I need to see an RE? If so, any recommendations for one in Falls Church, Arlington, McLean, or near Dupont Circle? Should I make an appointment right away -- I assume these folks get booked up far in advance?

Thank you!

Preston Sacks is poular on these boards (and I liked him a lot). They are booked about 4-6 weeks out.

I highly recommend Dr. Gordon at Dominion Fertility (Rt. 50 and Glebe in Arlington). He can talk with you about clomid and other possibilities but won't push you into anything. We both liked him a lot.

Another idea is accupuncture. I've had a good experience with Arthur Fan in McLean.

You may also want to consider Dr Frankfurter at GW. He has a great beadside manner and is very up on the latest research. It takes a couple weeks to get an appt.

Dr Gordon is wonderful and dominion fertility's newest doc is really nice as well. I've been to 4 practices in the dc area and Dr. Gordon was by far the best.

Another vote here for Dr. Sacks at CFA. He is a wonderful, kind, caring patient doctor.

I go to dominion, too. Dr. Dimattina knows his stuff. He's a little gruff - but when push comes to shove - he comes through. Gave me his cell phone number - when i had questions and he was away from the office. He spent close to 20 minutes on the phone with me - it meant a lot.

Dr. Rey is the new doc at Dominion. She's super nice. So is Dr. Gordon. I really love the nurses, too.

I've been to Shady Grove (annandale), too. They were ok. It was several years ago & we just went for our initial testing. I had no complaints - but didn't really get treatment from them.

Good luck to you! Try not to worry. It'll work out.

Newbie here, I just had my first appt with Dr. Reh, she's really nice and spent a long time answering our questions. We are going to the work up, but not sure what happens after that.
