Two kids were fighting, they pulled the bigger white kid who was on top of the black kid when they arrived and made him sit on a couch and proceeded to handcuff the black kid. The white kid even had his hands in the cuff me position and nothing. All these idiots defending the actions of the cops and trying to come up with excuses are racist POS's. Either handcuff both for the fight or don't. This is blatant racism. I hope the black kid's family sues for the preferential treatment and wins.

I am neither black nor white so I don't have an agenda in this.

PP here. It does not matter what the community tip was. When they arrived it was the white kid who was on top of the black kid and being aggressive at that point.

You don’t know squat about what happened. The police got there and broke up the fight and told both to separate. The white boy complied and sat down. The black boy refused to stop and sit and continued to fight. The officers had no choice but to arrest him. The white boy sat on the couch and watched. How do you know that he wasn’t arrested next? Agreed. Everyday innocent black men are arrested. A couple of noted examples. Guy in Denver area a few years back picking up trash/litter in his yard. Got in CA taking out trash, police pull up and arrest him. They are looking for a white guy whose wive or GF called police because of a domestic violence situation. Here’s a more recent story from West Chester Ohio. Grocery store calls police on a white guy. Black guy enters the store behind the police. The black guy is arrested. Black men don’t get the benefit of the doubt. Black men are assumed guilty. People don’t get it. But black people are treated differently. As a white person you may not have seen that in the past but with everything being record it’s out there if you chose to see.

And who did the black kid “continue to fight” if they were separated and the white kid sat on te couch and watched, who was the black kid still fighting? Clearly you don’t know nothing about either.

The Latino boy *appears* to be a non-Hispanic white boy. The Black boy appears to be a Black boy. Joey, the boy that did not get tackled and cuffed, and his friend Sienna, who recorded the video, are speaking up against the racism that the officers displayed. Even if all of racism-ignoring morons on this thread don't want to see it, two of the most-involved kids are pointing it out for you. Their mothers are backing them up in speaking out against the quick race-based decisions made by the officers that day. Are some of you still so intent on pretending racism doesn't exist that you won't even listen to the people that were there? When Joey's mother says her kid should have been cuffed, too, you should listen.

This is one of the most ignorant posts I’ve seen on DCUM. The kid was not from Spain, therefore he is not Spanish. Spanish/Hispanic/Latino don’t mean not white. You can be white while possessing the ability to speak Spanish.

Spanish means from Spain

Hispanic means from a country or territory that is Spanish speaking (including Spanish but not Brazil)

Latino means from Latin American (including Brazil but not Spain)
