Why did the cops charge in cuff the black kid, knees to the back???And the white kid gets to chill?

Omg you are insane. Your attitude is what is wrong with America. Teens do dumb stuff like this all the time. The cops just needed to tell them to knock it off. There was zero reason for them to handcuff anyone. If any situation called for de-escalation, it’s this one. The cops are out of line.

No, he was not struggling. The officer pushed him into the side of a table so that his body was lying at an angle, and then twisted him flat to cuff him. There was no struggle.


The black kid did not seem to be struggling so the knee to the back and all was excessive. But he certainly deserved to be cuffed.

Jeez. The cops are grown adults and the kids were not that big. It is crazy to me that the cops did not just pull apart both.

oh please. It was a fist fight; no weapons. And not a brawl and not impacting passer-by shoppers. Kids are going to fight sometimes. Police should be capable of de-escalating a normal dust-up between two moderate size kids w/o cuffing and arresting them.

Without a backstory who knows. My small beach town with a resident only beach only has 900 residents.

I say 800 are white. The remaining 100 are Chinese, Indian, black, Spanish etc. literally the cops know the 7-10 black families.

Every time a black person tries to sneak in beach they get caught and cry racism. It is not. Just like my six foot five inch white brother got cops called on him when visited. They knew no 6 foot 5 - 50 year old white guy lived in the town

Maybe cops knew the white kid and knew black kid had priors
