LAMB is not moving out of Perry Street anytime soon. No place to send their kids right now since Walter Reed is not done + they have a 10 year lease on the building and just might keep it, even after Walter Reed is done.
On the Perry Street location?
yes a 10 year lease on the Perry Street location.

So what the answer to the original post? How come Perry Street has been put up as it were real.

Lee Montessori will depart this earthly plane in 2016-17. It's too good for this planet and will ascend directly to the pink tower in the sky.

Pink tower power!!!

Perry Street / former Taft Middle can accommodate over 1200 students. There'd seemingly be adequate space to house what's left of Perry St Prep, LAMB, and another charter (to fill the space currently used by Perry St Prep HS).

It's not surprising to see a Lee parent make a comment about wanting to kick out PSP. It is surprising that Lee parents don't think they can just go ahead and "kick out" Georgetown.

Yes, PSP is in negotiations with a Charter school to occupy the 3rd floor which housed the HS. It is rumored to be Washington Math and Tech or something like that.

Don't quote me!

So would that then be LAMB and Washington Math & Science in the PSP facility-- not Lee ?

So Washington Math and Science goes to LAMB building and Lee goes where Wash Math and Science was. Boom!
Anonymous
Washington Math and Science building is huge could Lee handle and afford the square footage?

Who is on the church that LAMB used to be in NE?

I think the church wanted that space for its own use. Not positive, though.

Yes. Our Redeemer church hosts an infant to PreK child care center there. They do not share the space with anyone else.

Stop rumor mongering. Perry Street absolutely does not fit the criteria that they have been sharing for the past 2 years.
