Is Aspergers the next step in human evolution?

They are not attractive. Charisma is what attracts the opposite sex. I bet it you ran a study on aspies and marriage rates, I bet it is way lower than than the general population.

Some researchers also thought that things like schizophrenia and aspergers would eventually die out. That people affected by them would not have as many social opportunities to procreate. They were surprised that the genes for carrying them on were still being passed down to subsequent generations. It could be due to social construct that the genes are being passed down.

I am the high IQ mild ASD PP from the previous page. I am very physically fit, attractive, and interestingly enough, I have little difficulty engaging socially in romantic interactions. Men find me intriguing and alluring and I am always finding myself tangled up in affairs because I have a hard time deviating from the script and saying no. While I may not be throwing dinner parties every weekend, I can assure you there are plenty of opportunities for us to procreate -- sometimes with your spouses.

Awwww, I'm blushing for you. That was kind of a burn on yourself and you aren't even aware of it. Asperger's indeed.

LOL, right? She has no clue. Yes dear, men will fuck women who find it hard to say no. I hope you don't really count sleeping with someone's husband as a 'romantic interaction'.

It quite literally is a romantic interaction.

NP here. LOL no. It's a sexual interaction, not romantic.
If I decide to go down a few floors and fuck the office janitor- which I assure you would exceedingly easy- that is not a "romantic interaction" unless you are the most delusional person on the planet. It is purely sexual.

Romance is something else entirely. Something I'm gathering that, sadly, youve never experienced.

I guess you married the romantic janitor?

LOL. Only someone with Aspergers could come up with that total fail of a comeback. Learn social skills.

FYI: that wasn't me.

I suppose if I were neurotypical my feelings would be hurt by the name-calling and assumptions made in the last few pages. Good thing I'm not. I kind of got burned when I tried to share my point of view other regard to elaborate food in a thread a few months ago, too. I figure there are always people out there who are curious about how others live and what they think, so I will continue to post when I think my experience relates to the discussion. In this case, someone posited that people with ASD do not have many opportunities to procreate; my point was simply that people with ASD -- especially the attractive ones -- have more opportunities than you might think. No need for personal attacks.

So how many children have you had? Because that is what counts, not how many times you have had sex.

Not PP but are the same poster who basically sees no point in eating and gets by on as little as possible? Like broth? And as if that wasn't bad enough you look down on others who don't have any disordered eating patterns? You've got more issues than you have any idea of. And you still don't get the point being made here- almost any woman will have lots of opportunities to have random sex. That proves nothing and is hardly a feather in your cap.

It was the "I am DONE cooking for my family" thread. Someone suggested the OP cook lovely and elaborate meals for herself only while letting her family maul takeout and junk. I took (and still take) issue with the inefficiency of that approach.
