Sure there. You can keep posting a million lyrics here but none of it is proof. None. |
Isn’t her latest album proof enough though? You think Taylor came undone and fell to her knees because of a two-week “fling”? She called Matt the love and loss of her life and the one thing she wanted, her whole world (i think in Daddy I Love Him). It’s obvious that this love has been going on for a long time. |
No. It’s not about him. |
I know your type. Back in the day, your type told Galileo, No, it’s not round. It’s flat. |
Sorry to disappoint. I’m a big believer in facts. You just have none. |
Delicate on the Reputation album, Track #5.
Oh Caroline on the Being Funny in a Foreign Language album, also Track #5. Coincidence? I think not. You might want to watch the official videos of the two songs and pay attention to the dance moves |
Yes. |
He dances *exactly* like her though, and only in that video. He is normally a very good dancer. |
The Fortnight video has many references to Matty and his Part Of The Band video. Also to his Somebody Else video. |
The way he was looking at her, absolutely mesmerized. And she straight at him:

Oh man, I think I’m done with TS. I had been a real fan but this is too much baggage. Her music is no longer anything I can relate to. I don’t give a F about Matty Healy. |
then this is not the thread for you |
She also refers to the entire affair as a manic episode (album foreword). It seems like her long term relationship died a slow death and she took solace in a good friend/possible ex. When the long term relationship was officially over, she jumped right into things with him. That man love bombed her and then ghosted. The songs are about the feelings she went through during this manic phase. It doesn’t matter which song is about what man, they are all about her feelings, thoughts and experiences. But the chapter is closed. I have to give her credit for not editing herself. If I’d fallen that hard for a rebound, I would want to bury that sh!@ and never speak of it again. |
Lover is absolutely about Karlie. |
Well, it was until it started to hurt my brain. I’m too old to analyze her life. I was a huge fan of every album after 1989 so I’ve always watched threads about her with interest but yeah, signing off… |
