Wake (2)
Penn State
Michigan State
Radford
Vanderbilt
UMass
St. Johns
American

Plus they have a few 2026s on that team that aren't in the window yet but are definitely Power 4 material. I would say NVA is doing just fine.

Will be interesting to see how many of those commits see the field at their respective schools.

Penn State is a tough place to find the field for anyone. Girl must be dynamic. National team player I assume.

LOL....uh no. Walk-on player.....

Just like McLean’s players…

Sounds like a lot of these girls are choosing to fill out rosters vs. being "recruited" as impact players. Social media certainly gives the appearance of being recruited as I've seen commitments to Duke, UVA, UCLA and UNC recently.

Some of them are, yes. What's your point?

Brown
Penn
UVA
Amherst
Williams
Georgia
Howard (x 2)

And more. The junior class is even more impressive with commits to Columbia, UCLA, FSU, Penn State, UVA, Navy, Wisconsin…

And notice that these teams are making playoffs but not necessarily #1 or even #3 in their divisions. So it’s not just about the wins.

Walk on positions at ucla and Florida state are hardly impressive.

How do you know these are walk on positions at ucla and florida state?

Iykyk

+! Do you people even know who the parents of the UCLA and FSU player are?

This. I think it just needs to be said here. The FSU player is Jaon's daughter (soccer connections). The UCLA player's father is a former university president (academic connections). And one of the UVA players father is an owner of DC United and a former owner of the Spirit ($ and soccer connections). TO be clear I am sure these players are good and sincerely not taking anything from the hard work they have put in. I am not saying they are not deserving But let's also be transparent about the support they've gotten.

McLean 2025 team with another Duke commit...that team must be loaded...anyone see them play?

4th place in weak MA division.

So how are they getting girls in the ACC?

Some of these players come from certain families.

But your post does take something away from these girls by suggesting that their parental connections had anything to do with their commitments. You should be transparent that you are an adult who clearly begrudges these girls their well-earned success.

All of these girls are way, way above average players who committed early to three of the best programs in the country that each get their picks of the top players nationally. Jaon’s daughter has played up and still been a standout. The UCLA player was getting called into the national team programming before tearing her ACL. (And do you actually believe that the former president of a small school basically unknown outside VA has sway at UCLA?) The last girl you mention, whose dad does have soccer connections, has regularly played for the USYNT for the last two to three years. UVA is lucky to get her, not the other way around.

What the previous poster is trying to convey is that these players were set up from day one to have this type of success. Good for them.

Not everyone has a parent who can set them up for a lifetime of soccer success starting when they can walk.

Congratulations on privilege!

PL definitely has the biggest rolodex in NOVA. Especially after he won the conference with the 2007s and 2009s. Everybody wants to talk to that guy.

NS won the conference with 2009s. Not PL.

Congratulations on privilege!

So now kids are “privileged” if their dad is a soccer coach?

Trust me, nobody wants to talk to him.

If daddy can buy a spot at Duke or ucla, that’s privilege.
