Even their 3rd and 4th teams are strong. Both finished 1st in NCSL league in Fall. Black team had something like 40 goals that season so no - they can across the board in 2011 shoot

2011 year is loaded with talent and for a variety of reasons, everyone went to Arl. But they have an ADP League between Rec and Travel which they are able to pull from - it's like a developmental league where they can identify talent and a lot of those girls end up at U11/U12 transferring into Travel league upon invitations. It's a good way to develop talent that I don't see other clubs leveraging.

We played with another large club in the area and I would say Arl is much more aggressive in not pushing passing - not that they don't embrace it but the name of the game is definitely about scoring. Alexandria for example is crazy about developing passing to the point where everyone loses and by the time of U12, the players sick of losing because they don't know how to score.

Rankings app has Arlington 2011G as #1 in country. I don’t know whether they really are the best team nationwide, but they must be really good to rank that high. With that acknowledged, note also that the second team is 300+, third team is 500+, and fourth team is 800+, so let’s not get carried away with how good the entire age group is.

Youth ranking apps are slight of hand smoking mirrors

Perhaps, but at least in this case the app and actual results are aligned.

I don't think so either, but everybody can see for themselves. You can usually find video of a team you're interested in watching online. The U13 stage is so early in the soccer development process that you can't really read much into the future years.

Just like any other teams. With some bigger, some average and some smaller.

Any tips on finding a particular team’s videos? I’ve tried without much luck.

Depending on what region you're looking at, I've noticed that NC Fusion posts a ton of game videos. There are other teams around the country that do the same. You can often find the team you're looking for as an opponent.

As for 2011g, we saw the Jeff Cup final when they dismanteled the no 3 ECNL team 4-0. Arl passed in circles around the IL team. It was not just about the CB and one attacker. They have 8-9 elite players controlling the game. They have a very fast/technical winger and two gritty strikers but the whole back line is excellent. Four goals from four different players. Arl may have been lucky with the talent in NoVa but CP and the club must have done something right. Its very impressive soccer.

I must say the 2011g Arlington parents that come on here to brag do trigger my gag reflex, but my soccer app does have them No. 1 in the country, so at least they have something to brag about.

It and FCV’s U19 team are the DMV’s only girls teams ranked top 10 nationally. Let them brag.

Ha! Also won a NFL national flag championship, 2nd at futsal nationals, second a SuperCopa, etc. Talented group in many sports.

They're a fine team for U13, but that's just not a credible take.
