But no.

1) her brain isn’t developed enough to make rational decisions about permanent body art.

2) it hurts a lot and isn’t quick. She likely has no concept of this.

3) she will likely make height and weight gains this distorting tattoo

4) attempting removal is also very painful and may not be effective. You should never ever get a tattoo with the rationale of you can remove it later if you want to. Sometimes the results just aren’t good

So if k accompany my minor child, I could get a tattoo on my 6 year old? I actually had no idea this was legal. My 6 year old would LOVE a unicorn tattoo.

A 12-year-old is old enough to understand that legally she cannot get a tattoo even if her parent approves of it.

Tell her to write to her elected representatives if she wants the law changed.

I know it's a troll, but why don't You compromise with piercings? In my opinion, twelve is old enough for multiple ear piercings or a nose stud. (If it is done professionally and she can care for it)
