Is this a sensory thing? My waist is normal size and my pants and skirts are not tight. When sitting, the feeling of the waistband against my body drives me nits. I have to keep adjusting it. Does this happen to anyone else? |
Yes. I’m also the same way about things touching my neck. |
YEs!!! I have a problem with skirts and panty hose. No matter how loose. Especially panty hose. And I am skinny. |
also high waisted pants. Anything that sits right at the smallest part of my waist. I’d rather wear hip huggers. |
Same here. It especially bothers me when trying to fall asleep. So, super loose granny pants for me.. |
After I was 51, having hot flashes and it was a crazy hot summer, I gave up panty hose forever. Very liberating! |
Yep, it’s why I never have liked jeans. I mainly wear pants with soft waistbands now. I’m not, nor have I ever been thin though. I also don’t like things touching my neck. |
You might have ADD |
+1 Yep same here plus it gives me a stomach ache so I avoid anything high waisted. |
I’ve had this off an on after going back hybrid to work and wearing normal clothes. I try to wear wrap dresses instead as often as possible.

Even better, just go commando while sleeping. |
I have this with certain kinds of polyester, rayon and various non-natural fibers. Cotton for me! |
^ and no itchy labels. |
That's how I feel about bra bands. I'm small-chested too so it's not a boob constricting thing, I just really hate the feel of something elastic-like on my ribcage and pull at it all day if I wear one. |
I thought I was the only one! Same with headbands and headaches. |
