They've weaponized elected officials like John Fetterman (and really everyone in Congress) to do their bidding. Coupled with political appointees and high-ranking officials at State who share the same political motivations (despite constituting less than 5% of the population), it's not really a mystery why the U.S. just can't "quit" Israel.

It's disgusting, though. As an American, I hang my head in shame for just shrugging my shoulders while this hijacking of America has taken place over the years. At this point, the only hope is that ANYTHING occurs to help American awaken from this stupor. If these protests are part of that effort, so be it ... it has to happen for America's future.
