Pottery Barn on Black Friday

Anonymous
Does anyone know if Pottery Barn typically does any special sale or discount on Black Friday? There's a rug I've been holding out for for the last few weeks, and wondering if I should just wait til next Friday?

how about calling them directly and finding out?

well, that's an idea!

Second the suggestion to call them. Also ask when they get their new inventory and when they put last seasons' stuff on sale or where they send it out to.

They have a few outlet stores, so they problem send old stuff there.

WHAT is the draw with PB? Everyone I know that has bought furniture there has had it fall apart, and their policies are not consumer friendly. If you want to buy status, I would NOT buy PB.

Who says she is buying "status"? Maybe she just likes PB. Jeez.

OP here. They have a rug I want. And yes, I have shopped around. They have the color and pattern I want. Thank you.

I have never seen Pottery Barn (or Crate and Barrel) have sales on Black Friday.

The only thing I have seen this year is Crate and Barrel had a 15% off coupon off any store purchase through 11/30. This was the 1st time I have ever seen coupon by them.

Maybe they just like the style...geez...relax person!

I was just in PB last night and found a unique table (Townsend ), anywho, I inquired about Black Friday sales. Sales clerk told me that only x-mas ornaments would be a Black Friday item. As far as the quality, the majority of my furniture to include my kitchen and bathroom cabinets are custom made and will last forever but at a very steep price. The table(Townsend) I saw for $399.00 is worth taking the risk. I am also new to Pottery Barn! I'm debating on checking out the PB outlet in PA. Does anyone have any feedback on PB outlet selections and prices?

I've been to the Pottery Barn outlet in Lancaster PA quite often (I live not too far away). As for the selection and prices....depends on what you're looking for. I've had the most success with accessories and bedding there. Furniture often has slight (or occasionally not-so-slight) damage. Except for dining chairs. They usually have a gazillion Montego chairs.
