Ideas on how can I turn some currently frozen chicken breasts into a crockpot-type dinner for tonight?

Pulled chicken sandwiches? My kids always like them.

Just throw in some bbq sauce on top of the chicken (bottled or make your own). When the chicken is cooked, shred it with two forks (while still in crockpot) and leave it in the crockpot on low or warm for half an hour or so. Serve on rolls.

You're not supposed to use frozen meat in the crockpot.

Defrost the chicken in the microwave before you put it into the crockpot.

Did you have enough time to cook it? 3pm was pretty late to start chicken in the crockpot.
