What is going down in flame next? Last time was the High school charter on Bladensberg.

The meeting notice has as the discussion "deliberate upon 2018-19 reviews and renewals." The PCSB probably doesn't have the appetite to hold accountable all of the failing schools up for review this year plus those with conditions from last year.

Hmm. I read this as, “Once again, we failed to notice the total financial mismanagement of a school until it was too late and we legally have to shut them down.” There are certainly schools up for review that could fit this bill, but it could be any number of schools.

This. Oops! Time for some high-priced consultants so we can throw good taxpayer money after bad.

The meeting has been scheduled on the same day/time that charter school quality reports/tiers are coming out.

Seems a little late if that's what it's about.

Probably not about the release of the reports but more about the public reaction and public actions they'll need to take based on performance scores. Last year, the PCSB gave conditions that a few schools had to meet a minimum score on the PMF or agree to close. The release of the reports will make it clear (to the public) which schools didn't meet the scores needed. There are also schools up for review that would have needed really significant increases to meet their charter goals.
