Since there will likely be a lot of Kavanaugh-related discussion today, I'm starting a new thread for such posts.

Good morning. |
I am waaaay too addicted to these threads. |
Why isn't ANYONE reporting the alleged "gang rapes" to the Montgomery County Police Department? They apparently want to investigate, but can't until SOMEONE makes a report. |
Also, Christine Ford's alleged witnesses refuse to testify under oath in her defense.
Um, imagine that. Not everyone wants to be a liar. |
Nothing anyone could say would satisfy you. |
Breaking: the Judiciary Committee interviewed two men who say they assaulted Ford, not Kavanaugh.
https://amp.usatoday.com/amp/1439569002?__twitter_impression=true Also, the woman accusing Kav of gang rape has a history of harassment. We’ll see! |
Someone asked, "If the man or men coming forward (supposedly) to claim responsibility for the attack on Ford can give names, dates, and addresses, will you believe them?"
Maybe. It still does not explain away the overall pattern of behavior Mark Judge put in his book, reflected by the year book, and other witnesses who have come forward. It still does not explain the gap between Kavanaugh's interview where he indicates he was mostly a good, church going kid, and the picture painted of him as a pass-out drunk (judge's book) who gets belligerent and inappropriate (college roommate). Folks have indicated that they think Ford is a political operative, that this is part of a conspiracy. That theory is weakened as more and more people come forward echoing similar stories about Kavanaugh. If an accuser can be a bribed, political operative, why couldn't a man or men coming forward to claim responsibility also be a bribed political operative? First we were told Ford is a liar and who wait 40 years to report an assault? Now you're willing to believe she's telling the truth about an experience she had, it just wasn't Kavanaugh who did it? |
Are you going to ask this on every single page of every thread? The victims have requested an FBI investigation which is the same agency that investigated the Anita Hill case and John Tower cases. |
To you have a citation for this? They have submitted sworn statements. The Republicans have refused to allow any witnesses other than Ford and Kavanaugh. |
They would then be subject to the rule of law, which presumes the accused is guilty unless proved otherwise. They have no case, and they know it. |
She does have a more interesting history than I do. The employment and defamation cases are appreciated. I acknowledge the value, and sometimes the abrasiveness, of the women who went before me, making the workplace a better place for women. |
Who's betting? I say that today's proceedings will be a farce put on by the GOP and Kavanaugh goes through easily. All the usual GOP suspects will obediently toe the party line. |
No we won't. Those people will not be showing up to testify. |
There obviously needs to be an investigation at this point by the FBI. Like many posters have said, at this point anyone can say anything because the SJC is refusing to treat these allegations with the seriousness that they deserve. And it is backfiring. Seriously I could go out and write a letter accusing Brett Kavanaugh of anything and send it. |
