Do you make lunch for guys who are just your friends? E

Would you go out of your way to warm up lunch for a guy who is just your “ work buddy “?

You mean at the office..like get his lunch from the fridge and warm it up for him when you do yours..no I don't think so.

Exactly this scenario.

Absolutely not.

Wait - my friend who is also a coworker broke both wrists at the same time. I did some things like this for him that I wouldn't normally do, and haven't done for him since he healed.

But in general, for a non-handicapped guy friend? No.

I mean it really depends. Can I just microwave it? Like if it's soup, nuking it can create hot spots and he could scald his tongue. But am I really going to dirty a new sauce pan just to warm up his minestrone or something? I seriously doubt it.

Also my work buddies tend to be gluten free, so there's that. And this one guy skips lunch altogether so maybe I bring him something from the vendy machine.

The only time I see this at my office are spouse co-workers..

I would. NBD. Male coworkers get me coffee. The one who does it the most is gay.

No, it's weird.

No. At best, if someone’s lunch is in the microwave and finished I might bring it over to them while I’m waiting for mine to cook rather than leaving it on the counter.

They’re up to something. My DH when we were dating wanted to keep it quiet because we worked together. So we’re sitting in the break room and he picks up my drink and takes a sip. He didn’t understand why I started to laugh about that.

If we were working on a project together and I thought he wouldn't get lunch otherwise and he was generally thoughtful or kind to me, then yes. Otherwise no. Treat people the way you want to be treated and sometimes that means doing something nice just for the sake of doing something nice.

That’s a load of BS you can come off your high horse. You aren’t fooling anyone everyone knows you are sleeping together.
