Lots of ties in top 15. Congrats to UCLA for finally besting UCB |
|
The ties are bullshit.
CHicago and Columbia are not on yale’s Level in the slightest. |
|
Stanford “7th”? Lol I dislike Stanford quite a bit and thinks it has a shitty culture but Chicago and Columbia are not outpacing Stanford.
Duke way overrated. They need to separate Wharton from the rest of penn in these rankings |
|
Vanderbilt and Emory Overrated.
U. Washington and umd underrated big time. |
| Elitism embraced. Gross. |
|
LOL
I guarantee Stanford and Yale win like 95% of the dual admits vs Columbia and Chicago. But I guess they have to sell magazines and generate website clicks. |
+1. Would Wharton win any cross-admit battles with HYPS? I doubt it. I'd love to see them isolate top business and engineering dept from the liberal arts, but I doubt universities would provide that data. |
Wharton wins xadmit battles with hyps more than you think to be fair - especially due to fisher and huntsman programs. |
| Complete garbage. Even more so than usual. |
| Midwestern LACs are interesting. Carleton and Grinnell far ahead of the pack, as they should be. |
| This isn't a ranking of the "most prestigious" colleges. They have a whole basket of measurements, of which peer and guidance counselor rankings are only a portion. |
| Why is Elon considered a regional college? |
Because they don't offer doctoral degrees, most likely. |
Us news' classification system is based on Carnegie classification system. |
| These rankings are mostly focused on undergraduate education. If they included graduate school, some colleges would be ranked very differently. |
