A lot of intelligent people voted against Clinton for a lot of good reasons (ties to Wall Street, bribery from foreign leaders, lapses in judgement, support of a serial rapist, her inability to go a goddamn day without telling a lie, demonization of her opponents, etc. etc. etc.). There may be racists who voted for Trump, but there are a few decades worth of racists who voted for Clintons too.
