We take a large sized candy bar to ds's friends when they are in plays. Actually we take the large sized candy bar to the friends whether they are girls or boys. You could do that, OP.

I saw plenty of girls at graduation yesterday who did not have flowers. My kid would have been mortified if I'd brought anything!
